Colby Bird may have left Austin at the ripe old age of eighteen, but this Brooklyn-based multimedia wunderkind has the heart of a Texan and it shows. Bird’s solo exhibition at the Mountain captured the exploratory spirit and humor that our burgeoning artist community has been cultivating for years, and his piece in Reynolds’ Contemporary Culture exhibition was a standout success.
